About NPC
NPC has built a new way to community where people, content, conversations, and interactive apps work together in one shared experience.
Originally a gaming term, NPC stands for Non-Player Character, a background figure coded to follow a script, repeat the same lines, and serve someone else's story. We chose the name because we believe people can do the opposite.
To us, an NPC is activated. Authentic, curious, creative, and free to shape their environment instead of simply accepting what was given to them.
Our mission is to create a community of communities that allows people to fully engage. Clubs can be created where NPCs belong, participate, and build together. It's a place where you bring what already works, create new experiences, and shape what comes next.
Our story
NPC started with a simple frustration: the people, content, apps, and tools behind a community often lived in separate places. People had to jump between platforms while the full experience remained disconnected.
When NPC was established in 2023, our vision was to bring community and apps into one connected space.
Our love for communities across Ethereum, Base, and Solana led us deep into blockchain infrastructure, Farcaster, digital wallets, and emerging technology. We explored how these tools could make digital experiences more open, connected, and empowering without making the technology the experience itself.
That work became NPC, a platform where people can create digital clubs for brands, apps, products, organizations, projects, and shared interests.
Each club gives its community a place to connect, create, and take action. Existing apps and experiences can become part of the club, while new ones can be built around what members want to do next.
We are building a place where every community can have a club shaped around what brings its people together.
